His Eminence the National Chief Imam of Ghana, Sheikh Dr. Osman Nuhu Sharubutu, along with other senior leaders from the Ghanaian Muslim community in the UK paid a short visit to the MCB office on Wednesday 20th April 2011. He was received by the Europe & International Affairs Committee Chair Dr Muhammad Abdul Bari and the Secretary Rashid Ansari.
Sheikh Dr. Osman Nuhu Sharubutu talked about the importance of the Muslim community working together for the common good and urged not only the Ghanaian Muslim community but all the various different Muslim organisations and communities in the UK to work with the MCB. Dr Abdul Bari expressed his appreciation at the Imam’s visit and his inspirational words.
