A delegation from Saudi Arabia visited the MCB on Saturday 9th July 2011. The visit was received by Farooq Murad, Secretary General of the MCB, members from the Business & Economics Committee, the Europe & International Affairs Committee and the Membership Committee.
The delegation consisted of 12 people, mainly academics and professionals, businessmen, civil society leaders and officials within Saudi society. They were participating in a visit hosted by Cordoba Foundation with the aim to familiarise themselves with the Muslim communities in Britain / Europe through visits to the main organisations and figures in Britain.
The visit was an opportunity for the Saudi Arabian delegation to learn more about how the MCB represents and helps to benefit the Muslim community in the UK. They were introduced to MCB, its aims, how the MCB helps to provide solutions to issues and challenges that arise and the role it plays in benefiting wider society.
