Ramadan, the month of fasting for Muslims is once again approaching us. Like the previous years, the MCB has compiled a RAMADHAN HEALTH FACT SHEET, a document with some useful information about health and fasting. It is designed to help front line healthcare staff to effectively deal with issues they may face in providing care to patients in the wards as well as staff and other service users. In the current version we tried to incorporate answers to some queries we received after the circulation of last year’s fact sheet and have also tried to reflect the most up to date research in the area.
