As the holy month of Ramadan begins, Mosques and Islamic centres up and down the country will handle and serve food during Iftar and in some cases Suhur. Everyone who prepares food during the month of Ramadan must understand why it's so important to follow the basics of food safety.
The Muslim Council (MCB) considers it important to alert our affiliates and Mosque and Islamic Centres in general to take adequate care and follow the best practices in handling food to avoid all health and legal risks. To this effect, the MCB have prepared Guidelines on serving food in the holy month of Ramadan
