YOUTH AFFAIRS COMMITTEE

The Muslim Council of Britain's Youth Affairs Committee has completed recruiting a new Committee of Office Bearers and Members for 2010/11 which have been approved by the MCB's Central Working Committee (CWC). However, we are always open to recruiting new youth volunteers, for our developing events and projects during 2010.
We are seeking creative, dedicated and resourceful individuals, who have the aims to:
1. Advocate (Muslim youth issues) and Represent (MCB youth affiliates)
2. Connect, Unite and Empower Muslim youth organisations
3. Showcase Muslim youth achievements
As a committee volunteer, you will be expected to help with on-going projects, attend sub-meetings, to give a progress report on your project, to present and make comments on proposals, and to be consulted about any other arising matters.
The Youth Affairs Committee are also regularly invited to both local and national events and conferences. As a member / volunteer you will also be able to attend such events and meetings.
