Finance & HR Manager - Part time

Muslim Welfare House is a social, cultural and educational charity that offers its services to the multicultural community of North London.

MWH wishes to recruit a motivated and experienced Finance & HR Manager to oversee
the development of the finance & HR Section within the organisation.

Finance & HR Manager - £ 12,000 p.a. Part-time ( 3 days)

You will be responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day financial management of the
charity. You will work closely with the Executive Director to strengthen the charity’s
financial management systems, policies and procedures, improve budgeting and cashflow
management. The successful candidate will be methodical, accurate and have an
eye for detail and have a proven ability to work on their own initiative and as an effective team player. In regards to HR, you will play a leading role in planning, co-ordinating, recruiting, training, inducting and staff. The post holder will ensure that all staff are effectively prepared to carry out their roles through the delivery of induction processes.

You will need:
- Five years experience of working in a finance role in a preferably in the charity
sector with a good understanding of charity financial management.
- Excellent written and oral command of the English language.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills with strong attention and accuracy.
- Good planning, organisation and time-management skills and ability to work to
deadlines.
- Excellent computer skills: proficiency word-processing, spreadsheets and
databases.
- Educated to a degree level preferably in finance.
- Ability to juggle conflicting priorities and cope with a hectic workload.
- Experience of working in a community / voluntary organisation is an advantage.
