Volunteers Required for Muslim Art Workshop Friday 04 August 2006 |
|
A community programme developer at the Natural History Museum is organising a Muslim art workshop for 20 January 2007, lead by a Muslim female artist. They are currently planning to market the workshop to the local Muslim community group within various London Boroughs and would like to have images of Muslim people on the marketing materials to make it more relevant and attractive to the Muslim community. NHM is looking for volunteers to take part in a studio photo shoot at the Museum and are willing to give us consent to use their images for marketing purposes. Details of photo shoot: The shoot would take place sometime from 21 to 31 August at a time suitable for the volunteers. We are looking for all ages to volunteer for the shoot. Volunteers will be asked to hold things found in nature such as plants, fossils, minerals, shells etc as part of their shoot. Travel expense will be covered for the day of the photo shoot. An honorarium payment of £20 will be offered for volunteers. Volunteers will be asked to wear bright colour clothing with no branding. The shoot will take place in a studio at the Museum in South Kensington, SW7.
