Academic Partnerships MCB, through ReDoc, partnered with the Department of Sociology, University of Bristol, on a PhD studentship 'A statistical mapping of Muslims in Britain' (2001-2005), undertaken by Serena Hussain under the supervision of Professor Tariq Modood
Since October 2008, the MCB has been partnering with the Department of Education & Professional Studies, King's College,University of London, on a PhD studentship examining academic 'under-achievement' of Muslim boys. The researcher is Matthew Wilkinson and the supervisors are Professor Peter Kutnick (chair in Psychology and Education) and Dr Louise Archer, Reader in Education Policy Studies.
