MCBDirect will give individuals and organisations, Muslims and non-Muslims, schools, Government departments and the media, the chance to better understand Islam. An exciting opportunity has arisen for those who have the potential to think outside of a box to change the perception of Islam in Britain. We have a vacancy for a two year full-time web editor / community information officer post with the Muslim Council of Britain, based at our new premises in Stratford.
The post involves work on MCBDirect our community information service, which involves utilising the latest in information technology developments, to collate and disseminate reliable and accurate information on Muslims in Britain. The main overall strategic task of the post-holder will be to work with the MCBDirect team, Office Bearers and CEO to develop an integrated, high-quality, public relations service for the MCB.
