Is the environment the preserve of the privileged few, or can anyone get involved?
Come along and participate in a one day pan-European conference to celebrate diversity and the environment, bringing together community leaders and practitioners to help share best practice in working with people from a diverse range of communities including black, minority ethnic and disadvantaged groups.
Speakers include the talented Nahid Majid, from the Muslim Council of Britain, and will be hosted by conservation volunteering charity BTCV. Other speakers include Trevor Phillips, Chair of the Commission for Racial Equality, and Marilyn Taylor, Chair of the Urban Forum, as well as community representatives from and around the UK.
