The MCB condemns violence at Al Aqsa
The Muslim Council of Britain condemns the violence against worshippers last night at one of Islam’s holiest site, the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem. At least 163 worshippers were injured, men, women and children during the most sacred nights of Ramadan. The violence comes amidst illegal efforts to evict Palestinians from their homes in the Sheikh Jarrah area.
We call on our UK government to condemn such flagrant theft and uphold UN Security Council Resolution 2334 concerning the occupation of Palestinian territories and stopping illegal settlement activity.
