29th Night

Abu Huraira, may Allah be pleased with him, related that the Prophet Muhammad [PBUH] said:
"When the last one-third of the night remains, our Lord, the Glorious One descends towards the heaven of the earth and proclaims: Who is that who supplicates for Me, and I grant his supplication? Who is that who begs Me for anything and I grant it to him? And who is that who seeks My forgiveness, and I forgive him?"
[Bukhari, Muslim]

30th Night

A'ishah (May Allah be pleased with her) reported:
“The Prophet (ﷺ) kept standing (in prayer) so long that the skin of his feet would crack. I asked him: “Why do you do this, while you have been forgiven of your former and latter sins?” He said, “Should I not be a grateful servant of Allah?”
Al-Bukhari & Muslim

1. Creating an evidence base of how Islam & Muslims are reported in the national print and broadcast media.

2. Developing insights on problematic areas of reporting and make recommendations through evidence-based reports, guidelines, submissions and training

3. Advocating change through constructive engagement with the media, regulators, politicians and other key stakeholders

4. Empowering communities and building capacity to proactively engage with the media to change the narrative

Women in Mosques Development Programme

With many Muslim women in the UK excelling in other voluntary associations or third-sector organisations, this programme seeks to encourage this talent to contribute to the UK mosque sector too.
