The Muslim Council of Britain (MCB) has launched the Muslim Mental Health Hub (muslimmentalhealthhub.org) the first platform of its kind anywhere in the world, bringing together a comprehensive national directory of Muslim mental health services with a pioneering AI Guided Helper.
The Hub already features over 50 verified services across 10 categories ensuring Muslims searching for support have the option to connect with services that understand their faith and lived experience.
At the heart of the Hub is its groundbreaking AI Guided Helper, built with dedicated guardrails, to allow anyone to describe what they’re going through in their own words and be pointed swiftly toward the right kind of help.
Dr Wajid Akhter, Secretary General of the Muslim Council of Britain, said, “As the Mental Health crisis grows, so must our ability to respond to it. We see this hub as a game-changing innovation that should be available in every GP surgery, health trust, Mosque and whatsApp group. We are ready to help other communities and the NHS replicate this more widely.”
The Muslim Mental Health Hub is available now at muslimmentalhealthhub.org.
