Celebrate Eid with Refugees

Asalaamu Alaikum,

This is the second year of our campaign supporting and working with refugees through mosques and community centres. Last year, approximately 40 mosques and community centres participated, opening their doors to refugees and extending warm welcomes.

This year, we aim to engage more mosques in this initiative, coinciding with Refugee Week, under the theme “Our Home.” Once again, we urge mosques, community centres and Islamic organisations across the UK to host Eid parties, inviting local refugees to join, share a meal, and foster lasting relationships.

Each event will provide local refugees with the opportunity to:

• Meet members of the local community
• Learn about available support, activities, and classes
• Connect with key individuals who can offer assistance

As we celebrate Eid Al Adha, let us warmly welcome all members of our communities.
